Strike a pose.
Tennis Lesson
Make the stroke normally, but as you land attempt to freeze like a statue. It is much more difficult than it looks.
If your landing is correct, you should be in a running pose, landing on your left foot, the racket by the left hip and the left hand either on the racket or behind you.
To land this position correctly and to be able to freeze and Pose for even a few seconds requires everything to have been perfect.
The ball toss, the rythm, the service action all have to be excellent otherwise either the pose is wrong, or you fall out of the pose.
Practice the “Service Pose” now and see how your consistency and therefore confidence grows.
